Teams and Membership

The Weekend Sports Club (WSC) operates with a flexible team structure and membership options designed to accommodate both individual players and entire teams.

Team WSC

This is the primary team of the "Weekend Sports Club," managed and captained by Pradeep Durairaj. All the member of the club get equal oppportunity to participate as part of this core team. Based on the tournament and number of participating teams, WSC may enter with one, two, or three teams. If one team, then the entire club always competes under the name Team WSC. If more than one team, then the club competes under different other teams specified later. As the primary team representing WSC, Weekend Sports Club has participated in multiple tournaments and consistently performed well. This team has participated in seven tournaments within a span of 1 year and won prizes in five of them - 3rd prize in Super Kings Knockout Tournament, 2nd prize in WSC Knockout Tournament - Season 2, 3rd prize in WSC Knockout Tournament - Season 4, 3rd prize in Kovai Prabhu Knockout Tournament and again 3rd prize in WSC Knockout Tournament - Season 7.

Teams

WSC-GAME CHANGERS

Game Changers, an independent team and it voluntered to merge with WSC thereby enrolling the entire team into WSC through team membership. It’s now led by BaskarRaj V, to maintain and deliver the core values as per WSC's vision. WSC-GC has represented Weekend Sports Club in three tournaments and reached the final round-robin stage in WSC Knockout Tournament - Season 6 to win the 2nd prize in this tournament.

WSC-HIT SQUAD

Hit Squad, another independent team merged with WSC to enroll itself into the club through team membership. It’s now led by Baskar Palanivel, to align the team inaccordance with the goals of the club. WSC-HS has represented Weekend Sports Club in four tournaments and won prizes in three of these tournaments: 4th prize in WSC Knockout Tournament - Season 5, 3rd prize in WSC Knockout Tournament - Season 6 and Season 8.

Individual Membership

Players can join WSC as single members and be assigned to a team within the club based on requirements and their playing style.

Team Membership

Entire teams can merge with WSC under a team membership, bringing their players into the WSC framework. After merging, these teams are integrated into the WSC structure and follow its guidelines and vision.
